We have been working for many months on our family stories following Adrienne Gear's book Powerful Understandings. It has taken some time to gather artifacts for our projects. Some difficulties were encountered with trying to get our artifacts onto the iPads. A couple of groups had to use the older iPads that do not have the Air Drop feature. This required many creative energies to try to figure our how to get an audio piece onto an iPad without Air Drop. We eventually used a special flash drive attached to a dongle to transfer the material over. Then the difficulty became 'how to get the audio onto Explain Everything app'. THE SOLUTION: We played the audio and then recorded it playing using the app. It ended up being completely old school.
These sample projects are the first completed. As the rest are finished, I will add them to the post.
